About Us

The history of NWF Wrestling dates back to early 1984 in the State of Minnesota, when the league was first known as The Kids Quad Cities Pro Wrestling Show. And while it transitioned through several name changes, it eventually became known as the National Wrestling Federation or NWF Wrestling.

The award winning story

LIVES ON

NWF Wrestling was a professional style wrestling league comprised entirely of kids that actually existed during the 1980s.

It was the brainchild of childhood friends Shawn Crossen and Charley Lane when at the young age of 14, they formed a wrestling league for kids that would eventually go on to hold live public events with hundreds of paid spectators all while producing a weekly Cable TV show that was aired throughout the Twin Cities metro area and other major cities all across the nation, 22 states in all. And it’s true, there really was no adults running the league, incredible as that is to imagine.

The purpose of this website is to preserve the past, pay respect to those who took part and educate the public on what was once a major accomplishment in the professional wrestling world that will likely never be duplicated again, at least not to the same degree or on the same level.
